Issues that impact TX District 7

Common Sense Healthcare Reforms
-
I will promote sensible healthcare policies and programs that will preserve our nation’s existing private healthcare system but will also protect families from catastrophic healthcare related financial losses.
Pro Second Amendment
-
I will protect your 2nd Amendment rights to keep and bear arms in a lawful manner. Gun violence is seldom stopped by licensing or zero tolerance measures. Increasing gun violence in Chicago is one example.
Mitigate flooding and prevention
-
No one will fight harder to force major changes in the way the federal government, through the Corps of Engineers and other agencies, work to mitigate flooding in the Houston area.
Securing our Borders and Immigration Reform
-
I will fight for common sense immigration policies, but only if our nation’s borders are secured.
Freedom of Speech and Religion
-
I oppose any and all efforts to limit our right to say what we believe and to gather together with the people we choose to associate with.
Transportation
-
I will promote programs to improve our nation’s roads, highways and bridges and to bring them back into acceptable standards.
Protecting Taxpayers from Government Abuse
-
Through my lawsuit against Mayor Turner’s fraudulent ballot language in November, 2017, I am the only Republican candidate who has demonstrated a personal commitment to fighting for taxpayers’ rights.
